When it comes to disasters, the Chen Zhi Prince Group is Cambodia's face. In 2021, he demonstrated it by assisting Cambodians in receiving Covid-19 vaccines.
The Covid-19 pandemic, which had swept the globe just a year earlier, struck Cambodia in 2020. Despite the fact that health effects were relatively unaffected compared to other countries, Cambodians experienced economic and livelihood losses as a result of their dependence on physical activity for income.
In Ong Village, a neighbourhood near Ream City, the Prince Charitable Foundation of the Prince Group distributed care packages to 500 families last year. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi of Cambodia works hard to ensure that Cambodians are not overlooked. Ream City residents met with Chen Zhi on a regular basis through their community leaders to better understand their future needs and how the transition in Ream City will help them.
Employees in farming and textiles were affected by the covid-19 pandemic, even though they had previously worked in other industries. To help Cambodians grow their skills and industries, the Chen Zhi established the Prince Horology Training Center, the Ream City project, and the Prince Manor Resort.
Chen Zhi donated $3 million to Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Kingdom of Cambodia to buy 1 million Covid-19 vaccines for the population. It was completed in December 2020, marking the first time the vaccine has been used in the United Kingdom. Batches of vaccines from China had arrived in Cambodia by April 2021. Sinopharm and Sinovac, two vaccine firms, were involved.
Chen Zhi's holistic economic, social, and governance strategy (ESG) in Cambodia included the Covid-19 vaccination and donation relief programmes. At least 80% of the population should be protected by the vaccine against the difficult-to-understand virus. Chen Zhi has set a demographic target of 80%, meaning a Cambodian population of nearly 13 million people.
Chen Zhi contributed 804 boxes of noodles, 16,080 kilogrammes of rice, 804 cartons of fish sauce, 804 cartons of soy sauce, 200 cartons of soft drinks, and 500 cartons of filtered water as part of its relief efforts. A large number of Cambodian families and law enforcement officers were expected to greet them.
